Throughout her time there, Alicia worked with both youth and adults that struggled with trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, academic concerns, relationship difficulties, and much more. In addition, Alicia also worked closely with parents and caregivers and supported them in learning skills to implement at home to help manage their children’s symptoms, create a safe and nurturing environment for them, and improve relationships within the family.
Alicia enjoys working alongside her clients to help them find their own paths to healing and happiness. Alicia takes an eclectic approach when working with clients and uses strategies and concepts from multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Attachment Theory.
