Jane Hoff, LMFT – Clinical Director
Jane has worked in the Behavioral Health field since 1992 and has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2002. She earned her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from National University, Sacramento, her Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of San Francisco, and her State of California Teaching Credential from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jane has had a long history working for Amador County Behavioral Health. She has held the positions of Clinician, Children’s Coordinator, Mental Health Supervisor, and Program Manager of Clinical Services. Her theoretical approach is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Child Play Therapy. Over the years, Jane has effectively provided Board of Behavioral Sciences clinical supervision for ACSW and MFT Interns and helped them develop their clinical skills.
Her theoretical orientation is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Child Play Therapy and Family Systems Approach. Her expertise is working with children, adolescents, young adults and families, with an emphasis in blended family dynamics, grief and loss issues, and abuse/trauma.
